Certainly one of the most anticipated games of the year, Sony has not yet revealed the release date of the upcoming Spider-Man 2. But a tweet posted this afternoon by Tony Todd suggests we might be getting it September, 2023. The actor ā€“ who plays Venom in the upcoming action-adventure title ā€“ replied in a very matter-of-fact manner to a fan’s tweet that the game is currently slated to release in September after a strong marketing push that begins in August. Whether or not this is true has yet to be confirmed. Furthermore, we’re not sure this is information that’s supposed to be in the public’s hands. Take it as you will, but at the very least it sounds like things are moving in the right direction.

A North Texas native, I was born in '80s and grew up '90s playing a hefty amount of NES, Sega Genesis, and SNES. Some early favorites include Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Road Rash II, and Super Mario World. As the 3D revolution took hold in the late 1990s, my interest in video games waned while my interest in music grew. Then around 2007, I started recollecting some old favorites which led to discovering classics I missed out on. The casual hobby snowballed into a full-blown obsession, and it became my mission to make up for years of lost gaming.
