Sony’s marketing team is working to build hype for their upcoming PSVR2, the new virtual reality system that works in tandem with the PlayStation 5. As part of the current campaign, a new commercial dropped on Monday featuring an unexpected star.

In the humorous 60 second ad, rock star Ozzy Ozbourne receives a brand new PSVR2 unit as his wife Sharon requests his help packing. He quickly finds himself immersed in the anticipated launch title, Horizon Call of the Mountain, part of Sony’s successful series that began with Horizon Zero Dawn. To Sharon’s dismay, the Prince of Darkness is not much assistance as he’s having too much fun with his new toy. While the premise is not the most clever, Ozzy and Sharon’s dynamic make it a pretty funny watch!

A North Texas native, I was born in '80s and grew up '90s playing a hefty amount of NES, Sega Genesis, and SNES. Some early favorites include Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Road Rash II, and Super Mario World. As the 3D revolution took hold in the late 1990s, my interest in video games waned while my interest in music grew. Then around 2007, I started recollecting some old favorites which led to discovering classics I missed out on. The casual hobby snowballed into a full-blown obsession, and it became my mission to make up for years of lost gaming.
