With release day fast approaching, Nintendo’s marketing team is doing all it can to push The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom into public consciousness. Anticipation is already at a constant roar, but there’s no harm in trying to bring one more demographic into the fold, right?

Justin Casey

A North Texas native, I was born in '80s and grew up '90s playing a hefty amount of NES, Sega Genesis, and SNES. Some early favorites include Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Road Rash II, and Super Mario World. As the 3D revolution took hold in the late 1990s, my interest in video games waned while my interest in music grew. Then around 2007, I started recollecting some old favorites which led to discovering classics I missed out on. The casual hobby snowballed into a full-blown obsession, and it became my mission to make up for years of lost gaming.
